Co-founder Sam partnered with Appalachian digital development firm Bit Source to work with the company’s global marketing teams on a new video series—stretching across global industry sectors—to answer some commonly asked “How Do I…” questions that WD-40 DIYers and professional audiences often pose, based on search data the WD-40 teams had access to from around the globe. This endeavor to begin with frequently asked questions across the globe for WD-40 was a new approach for the company’s marketers, as was engaging not a traditional marketing or video production firm but rather a digital development entity in the Appalachian U.S. populated with employees that mirror many of the company’s target customer types.
