The Innovation Experience

In our model, the Innovation Experience is driven by six “gears” in the Innovation Engine. We join the organizations we partner with to co-innovate with them to get an initiative moving at whatever gear in the process they need help, and at the same time to look at what other parts of the innovation process where optimization might help accelerate the project.

  • We support organizations in designing what the “ideal future” looks like for their organization, which is the first step to creating it. Through this Imagination process, we help organizations find creative opportunities and bold solutions to challenges unrestrained by current operations. Our subsequent strategies help clients move boldly toward that future.

  • All good innovation must consider its context. Because of this, we help companies collect a diverse range of intelligence to inform the strategy, design, and future execution of innovation initiatives. We leverage both qualitative and quantitative data and methodologies to conduct internal research, assessment of the greater culture and industry landscape outside the company’s doors, stakeholder research, design/user experience research, and, often, bespoke approaches that create new models for innovation initiatives.

  • We help companies build or fortify the core infrastructure of their operation that their innovation initiative requires. This includes operational models for supporting initiatives, technology audits and system design, data interoperability strategies, workforce training, digital transformation, and ongoing fractional support for the organization as a whole, or for specific initiatives.

  • Driven by the byproducts of imagination, intelligence, and a deep understanding of current infrastructure, we help design the right Innovation Implementation for our clients. Ideas and plans only get so far, so we partner in executing pilots and prototypes to test new solutions inside the organization, alongside our clients.

  • We help organizations manage the translation gap that exists between departments, between various vendors and partners, and in product-market fit. These gaps too often limit the ability for initiatives to repeat and scale. We also help interpret learnings from implementation of innovation initiatives, which allows all involved to benefit from the work.

  • We help companies build a repeatable rhythm of iterations for innovation initiatives—scaling projects, diversifying use cases, and sharing use cases externally as they grow in scale.
