Co-founder Vijay helped lead digital transformation work at the world’s largest and most cost-competitive aluminum rolling mill. Vijay was responsible for all technological direction of the organization, leveraging digital transformation tools and methods to transform business operations. That included responsibility for multiple teams of engineers, developers, process specialists, statisticians, analysts, and business leaders working on a diverse portfolio of projects. It also included leading the Innovation & Technology Council, a cross-functional team of process engineers, automation specialists, domain experts, cybersecurity, and IT members. Through this work, Vijay created and led implementation of a digital transformation vision and roadmap for the organization; integrated 30 terabytes of business and process data (IT/OT) into an Azure Data Lake, provided access and data visualizations for around 60 machine centers, oversaw stage-gate project portfolio governance for a multimillion dollar annual budget, and created and led the “Project Innova – Man – Machine Rebalancing” initiative, for which Logan received the 2020 Manufacturing Leadership Excellence Award from the National Association of Manufacturers.
